The journey is around 106.5 kilometres - a 'real' Bulgarian taxi fare would be around 100 Leva but you'll struggle to get anywhere near that price from a resort taxi as a tourist.

If you are going on a daytrip, make a agreement with a Taxidriver to spend the day there. We`ve made that trip several times, and paid from 100 to 150 Leva. The driver will let you off in Golden Sands, and pick you up and drive you back to SB in the evening.

Good thread about taxi drivers! What about getting to Bourgas- is it easy enough to get by with buses or is it far so we'll need a taxi? And how much are taxis at night?

There are frequent (and cheap) buses from Sunny Beach bus station to Burgas & vice versa.

Taxi fares in the resorts & airports tend to be whatever the driver thinks he can get away with - you need to negotiate & agree a price before you get into the taxi. There is a slightly higher charge for night time journeys.

ЗИМНО РАЗПИСАНИЕ is the 'low season' timetable - not applicable at this time of year..

There are other municipality bus services, but I don't have access to their timetables.
