The attitude towards tipping differs not only in countries but also individually. Although, I'm sure that 85 percent of drivers in any country will be happy to receive tips from tourists. We got a nice driver who made a detour on the road to show us around the city and didn't charge extra for it. We decided to offer him our Austrian sweets, which we took with us on the road. He was delighted like a child
