Does anyone have any information on
(a) whether it is possible to hire a taxi to transport 3 adults from Basel airport to Breisach and
(b) what it might cost, or
(c) where I might be able to find this information?

If you Google Basel Airport Switzerland, scroll down to Basel Airport guide (BSL) and click on that it will give you the World Airport Guide to Basel airport. It has Taxi telephone numbers, and other public transport information. Hope that helps.
