Hi Everyone. I have just heard that the awards are not happening this year. Is this true or just a rumour.

Correct, the Tenerife Entertainment Awards will not be taking place this year.

The 'alternative' option this year is Tenerife's Got Talent. Heats are taking place at the Theatre bar in San Eugenio every Sunday from 1400 onwards, then every 4 weeks there is a heat final and the top three go through to the Grand Final in July.

Some of the entertainers are now just about twigging on how many portals this prize (Blackpool COntract) could open, therefore the entry standard is now increasing.
