I would appreciate some advice on buying furniture for our new apartment in Los Cristianos.
We had planned to buy a furniture package, thought it would be so much easier but have read a couple of comments saying that they are not good value for money. I would have thought that if you buy a package you would get a good discount?? Has anybody purchased a furniture package & if so what sort or prices are the packages & what do they include. Also we have been told that if you buy a package then the company will install everything for you included in the price.
We are going over in 2 weeks time for 11 days & would like to decide where we are going to purchase furniture from, so that when the apartment is ready, we can fly over, order it & have it delivered without too much delay.
Any help would be much appreciated.

We used Deco Neuvo, found the prices keen and the service exellent.
They are in the valdes centre Cristianos.
You are not restricted to a pack, they will alter things to suit your needs.
There are also a few furniture shops in the industrial estate of Las Chafiras
to compare prices.
We also visited a small second hand shop "rotations" in PDLA in front of the Vina del Mar apartments. Worth a look around for bits and bobs.

Nigel, personally I think it's best to go into a big store which has the type of furnture you find attractive, walk round and choose the items that appeal to you, and then get the assisant to tot it all up. THEN ask for a substantial discount and if it's not forthcoming, walk out.
