you could always try the Atlantida...it is self catering, relatively cheap and there is quite a good kids club there.. don't know how busy it will be in October though and the place is quite sprawled out.

I had thought of the Atlantida already but after reading a few reviews and looked at the pool area, was not impressed.
I had been looking at an apartment complex in the torviscas area but can't remember the name. Will have to go to review section see if that rings any bells.
