We have in the past always stayed in four or five star hotels but found that they were not only expensive this time of year we did not want to be tied to having the meals at set times so chose these apartments.
The short distance from the old town was not a problem as the taxis turned up within minutes of being called from reception. Average price was six euros which was excellent value as there was four (two couples) in our party.
From arrival when we were greeted by helpful and friendly staff to departure it has bee a total delight. The staff could not do enough for us, they were all very friendly and seemed happy to be there and the apartments were spotlessly clean,
We decided to have Christmas lunch at the apartments which we were a little worried about as they menu of course was not traditional English fare. The meal, which cost 35 euro each was excellent with five courses and bottles of wine, cava and water included. The atmosphere was excellent and a show was also put on for our entertainment. Well done Terralta and see you next year.
pleased you had a good time in the terralta fancy them myself for next summer
I thought the indoor pool was only for adults.Have they changed it?
Not sure, about the pool the paperwork inside the apartments and on their website said adults only but we did not use it so don´t know if they have amended this rule or not.
OH and I arrive in Benidorm Friday night for 7 days and I can't wait! Have never been before. We're staying at the Terralta Apartments so if anyone has any suggestions of where to eat and drink please let me know. We hope to see Sticky Vicky and definitely want to go to the Benidorm Palace as well as hire a car for a couple of days. Weather is looking good
Hi lisatren- can I just say that the Terralta apartments are excellent: probably the best quality apartments we have stayed at (although it was a while ago now - so I hope they are still as good). I would suggest getting a taxi back after your nights out - it's a bit of a hike back up the hill!
Thanks Meerkat. Do you remember is the Terralta had hairdryers in the apartments?
Yes, there is a hairdryer in the bathroom.
Fab apartments - we love them.
Have a brilliant holiday
Best Regards
Elaine
Thanks Elaine, have been back a week now and had a fab holiday. Thought the beds in the Terralta were a tad on the hard side and made my hips feels bruised but other than that they were great. Can't wait for my next visit to Benidorm.
Hi Lisa ... perhaps you could update our Terralta Apartments review page when you have some time:
Thinking of booking these apartments for next year- please could any member who has been answer the following:
How Far away are they from Lavante beach (Where hotel orange, perla ,venus are located)- are they within walking distance to new town?
Are they fairly quiet during the day- and do you have to be up at a silly time for a sunbed.
Thanks in advance
Belly
I can only answer for the time of year I was there which was last week! Place was fairly busy but I don't know if they were full. Had no problem getting a sun bed at around 10.30am or at around 3pm. Old Town is closer, about 10-15 minutes down the hill. New Town probably about 20-25 minutes. I believe a bus runs every hour although we never caught it. Taxi back at night from the old town was less than 6 euros.
We were thinking of last week in September- which will be quieter (I would have thought than July & August.)

You can switch from Map to Satellite view, etc.

Belly, they are at the top of a hill in quiet residential area. I'd stay there again because I have to admit the further from the new town the better as far as I'm concerned
Thanks david and Lisa for that.
We have been looking for a few weeks nice for a nice quiet hotel/apartment within easy walking distance.to old/new town.
We much prefer a quiet/smaller hotel- and the less people the better. (A big ask I know especially in benidorm)
I think we have found a little gem- and the reviews are great- Hotel Nadal- directly on beach- only 40 rooms, each with a sea view.
Just come back from Ibiza-A massive rowdy hotel, parties till all hours of the morning, - hardly slept- so we promised ourselves- never again, in future we would chose the smallest hotel- with fewer number of rooms- that way- we will hopefully get some sleep.
Thanks for your replies
Belly
Also can anyone recommend any half decent bars with a bit of life in them of an evening in the poniente side that are an easy walk to and from in case we decide to give the rincon/levante/old town areas a miss one night,i know all the better places in those areas but never really been to anywhere in the poniente area, same goes for a decent restaurant?
cheers everso for any replies
