just back this morning great apartments/great weather/great everything/ "BUT", I'm back home ahhhh.
When you've got your breath back would you add a review of your apartments. http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/spain/canary-islands/gran-canaria/puerto-rico/terraza-mar-suites-apartments/
Many thanks.
Does anyone know the e.mail address for these apts please??
I'm going to terraza mar sunsuites in september for a week, but have been told the saftey deposit boxes are in reception and not in the apartments..
Does anyone know if thats true and if so are they REALLY that safe if there away from your apartment?
Im probably just being over cautious but i'd much prefer to have it in the room
hi there pink-kisses dont know about the boxes in the terraza mar but when we were in bulgaria the boxes were at reception and with the reception manned 24hr they were perfectly safe unlike when some people in salou a few years ago had there rooms and boxes in those rooms broken into anyway not heard of much crime in the area so hope wherever they are there safe and you have a nice time
next door to reception and you keep the key all the time & has cctv...and (sorry about this but) very safe.
dave
the resort centre is 5 minutes but full of touts, which is expected. Worth it, we just told the we had already eaten and never got hassled, and the Anfi beach touts are EVERYWHERE!
The beach is a bit of a hike in the heat but worth it for a few hours.. Got to the harbour and try big red lol! theres not MUCH to do other than the trips but ok for a week..
Stayed in the hotel as the pool was brilliant and the kids were happy with the snacks, ate out at night.. STUPID flight times and got delayed on the return flight for 2 and a half hours..
Camel safari is part of the Water park trip and a brilliant end to the day.. get the pics done with the seal lions for 10 euros! brilliant.
Have just booked with Easyjet for my wife and I to fly to Gran Canaria for a first-time visit in May to celebrate our wedding anniversary, so I'm looking for some decent accommodation for the 12 days we are there. After reading so many positive reviews of the Terrazamar Suites and knowing how much my wife likes big sunny balconies, they sound perfect. I notice that they are also No.1 in the Puerto Rico popularity ratings on the Tripadvisor site too. Just a couple of questions though. I'll probably book the SunSuites or the Royal SunSuites but do you really need air conditioning in May ? We have been to Lanzarote in April and didn't need it then as there was a cooling breeze most of the time anyway but don't know if Gran Canaria is as breezy or if being located in a valley makes a big difference to the temperature. Also, we will have a hire car for the whole holiday so are wondering if the Terrazamar Suites have car parking areas for clients or is it a 'park wherever you can find a space on the road' scenario?
we had a roof fan in the apartment and found that ample.
the ROYAL SunSuites are the highest, we stayed 3 times in the middle ones (SunSuites ).
parking. the SunSuites have parking down a slip road at the side of the hotel but I'm not sure if its for cars hired out by them !
don't have to many discos on the huge balcony
Have stayed in the Terraza Mar Sunsuites twice and they are great. Also the Sunsuites have an underground garage where guests pick up the hire car and you can also park your car here although I have found it very easy to get parked on the road right outside.I have also found the cost of car hire from the hotel excellent value.
Thanks for the replies. Very helpful. Just a couple more things if you wouldn't mind. Does anyone who has been recently know if there is any building work going on around these apartments at the moment ? And secondly, does anyone know if I might have a problem booking a late departure room at the Terrazamar ? We are due to fly back during the popular Spring Bank Holiday week on a night flight so I would rather book another whole night than run the risk of not having the use of an apartment on the last day.
HI, we tried to get the room for late departure like others but nobody managed to get one the times I've been there next to the reception is a room where you leave you're cases and do whatever till leaving time
a little glimpse off the reception area, oh and the tiny balcony
I have seen good reviews of the Terrazamar sunsuites in PR but all based on self catering. Thomas Cook are offering a good price for AI but the details of what is included are very sketchy and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of AI at this place?
I have just been informed from a friend who is to travel to the Sunsuites in October that Thomas Cook have withdrawn the kids club.
The balconies are big, but I want know if they offer privacy, and if i can sunbathing naked and if there are other people who can see?

answer to this is they don't offer privacy for nude sunbathing, the people above can see below (should I reword that ) and the screen at the front of your balcony does act as mirrors
