Snap! We are at the Marco Polo too!

Well only 6 days to go until we fly to Djerba, I must be honest now it's almost here we're really excited..

I started this thread in March as I was a bit worried following the attacks in Tunis, we went to Djerba and had a fantastic time , the Tunisian people were wonderful & so friendly(apart from the odd grumpy waiter) the hotel was great and I would definitely go back...
Obviously what has happened in Sousse has saddened me , not only because of the innocent loss of life but also because I can't see how the country's tourist industry can recover after this, and that will be catastrophic for the economy and the people.
Would I go back? , yes probably in time.I just hope I get the opportunity

Glad you had a great time spurry , this latest outrage is terrible and will obviously cause havoc to Tourism in Tunisia. Would I go now? possibly but would be as a solo wouldn't take family.
