Hi,
I found a travel company from teletext with a URL texthols.co.uk
When you go to this site it takes you to
http://www.searchtravelonline.com/ who are part of the Co-Op
Now, when someone tells you that "if it seems to good to be true, it usually is"
I priced a holiday with them from Glasgow to 4* AI in spain and they are about £1000 cheaper for a family of 4, than anything else I have found on the web.
Has anyone used them before?
The deal has a "allocation on arrival" It will be 1 of 3 hotels that they have detailed.
I have checked their number on the ABTA web site and it seems OK
It might just be me, if someone offered me £1,000,000 my first question would be "what is the catch"?
Any feedback would be welcome!
you are better off ringing them up,on the teletext site i found one £600 pounds cheaper rang them up and only thing that is added on is the transfers.with these sites they have special deals with the hotels just check the reviews first good luck im booking mine for majorca really good price
Journeys Direct, Hello Holidays, Sun Choice, Fiesta Sun, Search Travel Online and Yellow Sun Holidays are trading names of Medinland Ltd. Reg. Office: Co-operative Group (CWS) Limited, New Century House, Corporation Street, Manchester M60 4ES
I know the Co-op gets a good name and is well respected within the trade as a travel agent.
So it looks as if you have found a bargain

Search Travel Online. Myself and six friends booked a holiday with them in late january and were told (confirmed and repeated) by the agent that lift passes were included in the package price. We recieved our confirmation letter and guess what? The lift passes weren't included. We rang to complain and were basically told that it was too good a price to have ever included the passes so we wouldn't have been told that, and that we would have to pay the extra £140 each! After many phonecalls to the very stubborn customer services department we managed to get the cost of the passes down to £115, which is what they cost Search Travel Online. We were told that we could also cancel but would only recieve 25% of our money back! A formal written complaint has been lodged with the company. Make sure you get written confirmation of what is included, before you pay, because otherwise, you don't have a leg to stand on! Jody
Hello, Just thought I would put out a warning to anybody who books a holiday from the travel agent
I've added it to my favourites. Just booked teletext holidays(fleetway holidays) for a week at easter in spain (all inclusive including transfers for £486) Its one of the Htop hotels ,Oympic in calelle Reveiws not very good But we are prepared to use it for a base if necessary and taking earplugs for the night
They are part of the Co-op & I found them to be very helpfull and above very competetive.
Hope this helps
teletext holidays are just an advertising forum.. when you book you will be booking with a travel agent/operator whos name appears on the advert. included are the co-op [under upteen diffrent names] On the Beach, fleetway and several i have never heard of
texthols.co.uk which is the original post and concerns a company found on the Teletext pages which is actually http://www.searchtravelonline.co.uk/ part of the Co-op, and is getting confused with Teletext which as wizard says is ' just an advertising forum' found on your TV and lists many thousands of holidays, from many agents / operators.
I've just had a look at them and they only give the option of searching for 2 or 3 adults + children so single adults or larger groups are obviously not catered for.
The 'contact us' link on their homepage lets you enquire for larger groups of adults or a single adult, using this link I presume will provide group rates or a rate for a single traveller.
