Apparently one group of Mp's wants to get rid of the navy from Dabolim and develop there instead of a new airport. The navy is not too happy about this and is gathering support from another group of MP's to oppose this. In short nothing seems to be getting decided as usual, but I bet a lot of money is changing hands as usual!!!!
The hubby has been to goa on and off for over 20 years and they have always been debating the airport saga, don't think an answer will happen in the short term if ever.
