I can't offer any comment on which resort would be best for you but I went to Tenerife on the 20 December 2005. On the day I arrived the weather was dreadful - torrential rain - but when I got up on the morning of the 21 December it was wall-to-wall sunshine. In fact the weather all week was pretty good although by four o'clock most afternoons a niggly breeze would blow up - the temperature in Los Christianos on Christmas Day was 23 deg. In the evenings I needed a light jacket so overall I would give a to spending Christmas in Tenerife although it must be pointed out that there is nothing certain about the weather wherever you are.

I'm sorry if my comments on the weather are in the wrong place so for info on that I would suggest you look at http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1285
No problem Myralock question was asked and question was answered and also guidance given to where to find the information.
I just thought of something that might influence where you decide to stay and that is I seem to remember that there were no taxis after about 6pm on Christmas Eve but there were taxis available on Christmas Day. I hope this is of some use. MyraLock
Hi, if your thinking of booking shorty, I would be quick if I were you, we looked for booking this year just after x-mas, and most flights/hotels were already fully booked. Good luck in your search. BBB.
either that or leave it till last minute. We booked early December for Christmas 2005 and got really cheap flights (less thatn we normally pay for March/April) and reasonably priced apartment
We booked our flight & hotel separately on the internet in about October without any problems.
