was our first time in sharm in may (was supposed to be going back to turkey with Chapa travel that really messed us around even though all was booked and paid for), now seeking compensation!!!!

any way, they couple that we met in turkey the 1st time went had mentioned sharm. but we were adamant that we wanted to go back to turkey and the hotel we stayed, but blessing in disguise (thank you Chapa).

he recommended the royal albatros moderna hotel.
it was great, glad we did.


the food was good, fresh, hot, lots of choice.
food was available almost 24 hours a day. early breakfast, late breakfast, 2 places to eat for lunch, 3 places to eat for dinner, late night dinner -10pm -midnight, pancakes being cooked fresh at 9-11pm.
drinks were fine;
tea, coffee, fresh juices, available all day, beers, wine and spirits served from 10am until midnight.

has own private beach. 3 pools.

we liked so much we have booked to go again at xmas.

probably better hotels but, this is the better the devil you know.

when we went for a trip to the pyramids we heard about some horrible hotels and vile food at other hotels, people just eating out and trying to find macdonals for their meals so we thought rather than trying to find another 5* plus and remember who said what hotel, we just sticking to this one for xmas.
