gyros are what we know as kebabs
Zorbas in Rhodes old town went there three years ago, just got back from Rhodes and yes it`s still there and owned by the same guy and they are still as good as remembered them.
had my first one last week some little resort on crete don,t know the name
oh we loved gyros we had it a few nights when we was in crete. the best bit was the tzaziki. we had it in baywatch, el greco and another place cant remember the name all in stalis.
just a bit further along from the supermarket on the opposite side of the street?? Had the draught beer pump on the steps as you went in?
can't remember the name but it sounds like it.
Don't know if it's still there but Kosta's in Hanioti was the best i have tasted.
Ill never forget the day it started to rain, the guys just ran to unfold all these plastic things and we all stayed dry while everyone else was running around trying to get somewhere out of the rain, i just sat there munching and smiling. and you get a nice jug of wine with it too
I hate to admit it but the best I've tasted were in Side. I know, I know, it's the wrong country but it's next door.
