Thanks for your reply.
We have several hours to drive after arrival at Glasgow so I'm really not looking forward to 29" seat pitch. I called TC this morning and they say the whole flight is 29" so no option of increased legroom seats.

Can you tell me what aircraft will operate the flight from London Gatwick to Bourgas on Monday 12th September. I believe teh flight number is TCX 1052.
Cheers
LGW-BOJ-LGW (TCX1052/3) is showing as a Boeing 757-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

The price we pay is what the tour companies quote i dont make those prices however for what i pay i expect a service which is sadly missing with tour companies once they have your money.I did not book a Thomas Cook holiday or Thomas Cook flight but was moved onto that flight by Thomson Holidays consolidating due to the lack of bookings for Sharm El Sheik. When i requested to change as i did not wish to fly Thomas Cook Airlines i was told i could but it would cost me 600pounds more (customer service we have your money!!!!!).
As for would i personally be prepared to pay extra i normally if available upgrade to Premium Economy so yes i would but not everyone can as you say.I would also pay extra for 32in legroom on flights over 2hrs but again not everyone can.All i am saying if anyone pays for a service they should expect it not every summer season have to endure long delays at airports because Tour Companies over tax their fleet when they want to be on their holiday.
But when you fly Thomson, you never have anything good to say about them.
Yes when I get what I pay for same as everyone should.who rang your bell anyway
Your always moaning and berating Thomson, for extremely minor things and when your not it seems your now having a go at Thomas Cook now.
Are you one of these peoples who's glass is always half empty? I'm normally quite happy to keep the peace but being a member for the last 2-3 years I have never read one positive thing out of your keyboard, it grates after a while.

That's flying out soon.
My girlfriend and I are flying out to Holguing, Gatwick- flight no tcx 134
Next month sept 13th for 2 weeks at the plays .
Questions:
If we get to the airport early enough to check in, can we request bulkhead seats?
I believe these have no seats in front of them?
Is this a reasonable request?
Also is the legroom still 33inchs, as I'm 6'1 and generally speaking
In the past I've been a little cramped on longhaul flights, I believe it was monarch the last longhaul to
Dominican rep.
Any help is greatly appreciated
33 more sleeps to go!! Whoop whoop!!

Bulkhead seats are extra legroom. These are only prebookable at extra cost. It's unlikely these will be available on the day of the flight as they get booked up well in advance. Even if they are, they are at extra cost. If you want to request seats, you can only do so via 'Select You Seat'. Further details are on Thomas Cook Airlines website. You flights are operated by a long haul Airbus A330-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information including seat plans and aircraft / cabin photos on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

If it is the extra legroom you are after, I would think the normal seats would be better than bulkhead, as you can stretch your legs under the seat in front. Also 33" legroom will be more than scheduled economy seat pitch and certainly more than Monarch, unless you flew premium.
hi we booked our flight ohy 1462 from gatwick to dalaman tonight but it doesnt seem to be showing on the gatwick web site as you can imagine i am very worried.
Don't worry. Ad-hoc charters or flights that have changed once the information is compiled (many months in advance) are often not reflected on airport websites.

Flew out on 29th July TCX 472 MAN-SFB. Do you know what the reg no of the plane was please.
Returned on 12th August TCX 473 which I know was G-OMYT
When we checked in at Manchester at 06.00 for 09.20 departure our party of 4 was told that there were no seats left that would allow us to sit together so we ended up spread out around the plane. Talking to some others on the flight they checked in at 07.00 and got extra legroom and a party of 5 were sat together.
On the return we arrived at Sanford as 12.00 for 15.35 and were immediately told that our seats were 43A,B,H & J.
Do Thomas Cook pre assign the seating as at Sanford she did not have time to even look through the seat plan? Row 43 is the last in the plane so was ideal to recline the seat!!
Thanks

It should have been G-MDBD.

If its aircraft i suspect are emergency rows at 10 and 11 worthwhile? Are rows in front around 4-7 standard or extra legroom as these are a lot cheaper? Thanks
I don't have the Winter 2011 aircraft schedule as yet, but it's likely to be a Boeing 757-200 or Airbus A321-200. Seating is personal preference. If you would prefer the extra legroom, then it might be worth paying the extra for you. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Only seats on bulkhead and exit rows offer extra legroom.

It has been a long time since I have been on this forum despite loving it. Could somebody please update myself. I have travelled Thomas Cook before and have always managed to complete "Your seat your choice" a long way in advance. However this time I can not seem to access the website and it keeps mentioning the 90 day rule. Is their a way around this?

In a word, no. Details are on Thomas Cook Airlines website.

Thanks as usual for the swift reply. Things seem to change every year. I am still not sure about Gambia as a destination but I needed a week during Half term somewhere hot!
