If the accommodation is apartments it can often work out its cheaper to book children as adults. If you book as children there are under occupancy supplement to pay, and these supplements can be high based on a per night bases, but when booked as all adults there is under occupancy supplements Children don't count towards occupancy in apartments.

I've also booked my kids as adults to get the best price.

I too have previously booked my children as adults. The only problem I have had with this was many years ago booking to stay at a First Choice aparthotel in Menorca with a FC kids club. I had booked my son as an adult so when I turned up at the club with him, his name wasn't showing on their list. We had to show his passport to get him registered but it was fine.

In my experience, it is always worth pricing holidays in different ways i.e. 2 adults and 2 children could be checked as 2A and 2C, 3A and 1C and as 4 adults. Some of the results can be surprising :D

You would be best to book the holiday over the phone, I know that when I sold holidays for another company we were allowed to sell as 4 adults, but had to put the kids ages in and then email another department to get the price amended, this then allows the hotel to know if kids are there (especially if there are kids clubs etc).

Good luck and enjoy your holiday.

I too have paid for the kids as adults to avoid paying under occupancy charges and it's worked out cheaper.

Have you thought of booking flights and the hotel separately as we did this staying at the Samira Deluxe and it worked out much cheaper - and the hotel does transfers too.

Don't know if you've been to Kalkan before but it's fab. :D

Hi instead of booking 2 adults and 2 kids just book 4 adults.
It happens all the time.

A couple of years ago I booked a holiday with Thomas Cook over the phone. I had priced it up on the website and it worked out cheaper to count my daughter (who was then 12 - just about "child price" for half-board) as an adult, but due to a glitch on the website I was unable to book online. When I phoned to book I explained about daughter being a child but wanting to book her as an adult to make it cheaper - the operator I spoke to managed to book her as an adult but kept her as a child for the flight element of the booking so I only paid the child price for her in-flight meal. Just a small saving - but every little helps :D
