michelle maylor,
MAN-BJV-MAN (TOM532/3) are operated by a former Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets). You'll find further aircraft information including photos and seat plans on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

tigger,
Please quote flight numbers when possible as there are often multiple flights. BHX-VRN-BHX (TOM7304/5) are operated by a Boeing 757-200 (winglets).

kieranc2k,
All the aircraft information is on our What Aircraft? guide. The 757-200 fleet doesn't have seat back screens. Screens are located approximately every 4 - 5 rows over the isle. Only the 767 fleet has seat back screen.

Hi We are going to Cuba on the 15 july from manchester flight no tom172 and was wondering where the plane flys in from before we depart so as i can check any delays
Thanks
Jack
Thanks
Jack
I'm also off to Cuba, but Holguin, this coming Saturday June 5th, from Manchester on TOM 108. It's been a while since I flew from Manchester to Cuba and I wondered if they are still using the ex FC 767's or will it be on ex Thomson 767? Like the previous questioner it would be good to know where the plane is flying in from before it departs to Holguin

Hi all,
Does anyone know how many Thomsonfly B767's are confirgured with 328 seats?? I think G-OBYH is, but not sure if anymore are.
And also do these aircraft that operate the high density short/mid haul flights have seat back tv's or over head tv's in the aisle's??
Many thanks in advance

All but one of them are in 328 config.
G-OBYD
G-OBYE
G-OBYF
G-OBYG
G-OBYH
G-OBYI
Leaving G-OBYJ as the long haul configured aircraft this summer.
All of the 767 fleet have seatback now have IFE as they all do long haul for the winter season, either with Thomson Airways or Tuifly Nordic(TA's Scandanavian sister company)
Corrected typo- wrong a/c down as LH configured.

Evening all,
My sister has just returned from her honeymoon in Sharm el Sheikh. She paid extra for prebooked seats with Thomson to ensure that she was seated next to her hubby as she is a bit of a nervous flyer. They then received an email saying that they could choose specific seats at no extra charge, which was great as she prefers to sit nearer the front.
Unfortunately, their choice of seat was not honoured for either of their 2 flights. Our local travel agent has said that the seat choice is not guaranteed which begs the question, what is the point of offering the service in the first place?
I was just intrigued to know whether the experts on this forum think it is worthwhile for my sister to try and get a refund. Yes they were seated together on both flights but not in the seats which they had specifically chosen.
Regards,
TMW9725

TMW9725,
I would ask myself the question 'did not getting the exact seat chosen reduce the quality of the flight in any way?' and was the party sat together or split-up? If the answer is no, I wouldn't bother looking at a refund. If you answer is yes to one or both of them, they may wish to persue refund with the stated reasons.

songbid,
TOM108/9 are still operated by the former First Choice aircraft although there have been a few changes to flights over the last week due to aircraft technical problems. As long as everything is resolved, you should be on an ex-FCA.

I think it was more the fact that they were genuinely impressed that they could choose a specific seat but were just disappointed that it wasn't honoured. Not that my sister is the worst flyer, it just caused a small amount of anxiety which they didn't really want on such a special occasion!
