Thanks in advance.
TOM894/5 are now listed as a Boeing 737-800 (winglets). G-FDZA is based there at the moment.

Does TOM 7304 (25/05/11) now show as 737-800 as looking at BHXSPOTTER site last week it seemed to show G-FDZG doing that flight.
We are flying to Paphos from Manchester on 24th July with First choice, I beleive the plane will be a 767- 304 but do you know the registration of the plane that will be used.
Thanks in advance for your invaluable help as always
Chris.
It's way too early to know the assigned registration as the aircraft are rotated regularly. I'll know the day before. It makes no difference as they are all the same inside.
Darren
That's looking like the case, yes. There's been a bit of juggling since the schedule was printed.

The 738s are a bit newer.
Just been checking the ACARS logs for TOM632 LGW<>SSH for the last two Saturdays (we're off on the 28th).
Looks like FDZF and CDZM - both 738s operated those flights!!
Certainly looks as if getting a 767 like last year if out of the question.
I wonder if being half term week we will still get a 757 - but, haven't been on a 737 for years!!!
Other than age - is there any difference inside (and obvious length of the tube!!)?
There are 2 versions of the 737-800's. There are 4 non-wingletted (G-CDxx) and 12 of the newer wingletted (G-FDxx). The FD's have the newer interiors with slimline Recaro seats giving you more room for the same seat pitch. The CD's have the older style seats and aren't quite as roomy. Apart from that, they're all the same. They're the same seats that are fitted to the ex-Thomsonfly 757-200's with the older generation seats in the ex-First Choice.

the 737 is a much nicer aircraft to go to sharm in than the 757 there is more legroom as they have the recaro slimline seats fitted. The ratio of crew to passengers makes service quicker than the 757 & 767. Hopefully you'll get one of the new 737's which are great to fly on. Seriously I've done Egypt on a 757 and I wouldn't wish it on an enemy.
thank you for your replies, i just didnt want to get to the airport and have any hassle with the weights. thanks again
Here's hoping for a FDxx!
I've previously done SSH in a Monarch 757 - I did say at the time never again!
One benefit now is that the middle seat will have a 2 year old on it - so my legs could go sideways!!!

I didn't find it too bad last year, as long as it's a 'blue' 752 anyway. With strong head winds, it was 6.5 hours on the return but with the slimline Recaro's, it was comfortable enough. The 5 hours back from Cyprus on the green 752 wasn't nice though.

Darren - don't you keep telling people that all the 757s are essentially the same inside?!
rhodgreen,
Thanks for the speedy reply, I know it doesn't really matter I just like to know. I have probably been on all of them at one time or anothr. is it ok if I ask you again nearer the time
Thanks,
Chris.
Not a problem, just post your flight details the day before and I'll let you know the likely aircraft.
