Flight Only / Airline and Airports

Darren, yes I flew to the States/Carib in the 90s and earlier part of this century with the then "standard" legroom - but I was several years younger and not suffering from dodgy joints!! Since 2005 I've always paid for extra legroom (or if I have to) Premium because being 6' 4" a pitch of 28/29" for more than 4 hours is purgatory nowadays. Flew to Rhodes with standard legroom a year or so ago - they had to almost lever me out of my seat at the end of the flight! The other problem is that the passenger in front of me gets upset because it is physically impossible to recline their seat without crushing my legs!!! :duh
I'll continue to look at the planes in use so that at least I might have some notice if they change planes on us!

caroline davis,

PFO-BHX (TOM7353) is operated by a Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets). This is a change from the scheduled Boeing 757-200. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). There are no premium seats on that aircraft and even if they were, they are only offered as extra legroom, not full premium like you get on long haul.

lbreslin,

Have you tried logging in to the select your seat section of Thomson Airways website? Officially, it's 90 days prior over the phone, 60 days online so it won't be available as yet online although it's sometimes before the 60 days subject to when the flights is loaded on to the system. You'll normall receive an email once it's available. Seating is personal prefence. Assuming you're in economy, avoid anything forward of row 18 and you'll have a window. Seating plans are on our What Aircraft? guide (link berow).

It should be operated by a long haul 767.

trasjohno,

MAN-ZTH-MAN (TOM2504/7) are operated by an Airbus A320-200 / Boeing 737-800 respectively. If you're flying back on 3rd or 10th October, it'll be a Boeing 757-200.

Hi, can anyone confirm what is going on with TOM60 today?

chelttown,

Welcome onboard :tup
Regardless of what's going on with a flight, you still need to be at the airport at the designated time for check-in unless otherwise advised. G-OOBM is operating the flight and it departed pretty much ontime (0935 GMT / 1035 BST so only 5 mins behind schedule) so nothing out of the ordinary that I can see at the moment.

Noticed today that TOM518 from Bristol to Cancun travelled via Manchester. Is this a consolidated flight or did it need to top up with fuel because Bristol runway isn't long enough?

Hi Darren,

Do you have the aircraft schedule through for flight TOM 4574 as I know you were working from June and July's previously and that it was a 767 so just wanted to know which aircraft is being operated in August.

Browndog,

I have the aircraft schedule for the whole of the Summer 2011 season (May-October). TOM4574/5 are still scheduled as a Boeing 767-304/ER (short haul / winglets).

123456,

What information are you looking for? When are you travelling? EMA-PUJ-EMA (TOM866/7) are currently operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Hi,

Going to Cancun 6/11/11 from Gatwick on TOM022 and I have been advised that it will be operated by an ex FCA 767 will it be the same for return journey 17/11/11 on TOM093 ? I need to pick seats on Saturday and wondered which 2 are a good option in premium.

Many thanks
