Peter and Glynis, yes, I heard the clerk tell them the numbers of the seats and I had those written down just as the "supervisor" the day before had told me.....
I did think about "kicking off" there and then, but in my experience you get nowhere with that, especially in the Caribbean where they have a laid back attitude to service and a habit of ignoring you if you protest too loudly....
Jet, no doubt whatsoever that the fault was Thomson's.. and yes, according to the "safe and sound" brochure from Ros Fernihough it's clear that I should be seeking 75% refund... only prob is how do you calculate what the actual airfare is as it was all booked as a package?..
I will let you know what transpires..
