Hi

I have emailed them this year but couldn't find the address.

Try say no to 0870 and phone them. Just put thomson holidays into the company box.

Hi 8)

if you go into the Thomson website and scroll to the bottom. Click on qestions and answers/contact us. It doesn't give you the email form until you type in a question, so type in a question and the email button will appear at the bottom of the screen.

However, have emailed twice in 5 days and get an automated response saying they are inundated with emails and to be patient. I've had no answer as yet.

It took thomson days to answer me and then it just said ring a 0870 number

:D Thanks for your replies, mollie tried what you suggested , unfortunately you cannot write a long email as it's only a small box, for enquiries, never mind, looks like I'll have to write, thanks again!

Go to the Greece Crete Forum - There is a new member "Thomson Head Office" who claim they are what their name says.

Why not ask them for the address?

Can anyone tell me whats the difference between thomsons and thomsonfly flights, only Ive booked flights with thomson to sharm from doncaster and wanted to change to manchester as it is nearer and now flight is cheaper from manchester . They told me I couldnt change as they dont have thomsonfly on there site as its the cheaper airline. Very confused as they are same company.

Thomson fly is the flight company of the Thomson group, Thomson holidays buy flights from Thomsonfly along with other companies and therefore although both members of the TUI group trade independently, also Thomson travel shops again are semi-independent and offer holiday by not only their own group but also other tour operators

We are having trouble with Thomson at the moment. We had a bad experience on one of their holidays and wrote a complaint letter on 14th September. Its now 5th October and we still haven't had a response and another couple we were with on the same holiday also haven't had a response.

I just wanted to know if this length of delay is common with Thomson or if they actually reply at all!!

I would be grateful if you could share some of your experiences!

Thanks!

They have up to 28 days to respond and that will probably only be an acknowledgement.

Trying to book an 08 holiday, but the hotel has disappreared from Thomson and Portland.... when you chose resort it is listed, but have tried 6 dates and 3 airports.... its in the Platinum brochure...
Dop you think it will come back on, maybe they are repricing, or negotiating number of rooms for 2008.

:D Hi Michelle, when you do your search, have you tried refining it, (to just the one hotel?).

Many times, the hotel we require, has not come up (Maybe the system only allows a certain number of hotels to be shown :?: ), and we have just selected the hotel we want (from the drop down box), and it has come up!

Good Luck, (and don't forget to enter the promotional code, which can save you upto £100) - These can be found on here

I have tried on both thomsons and portlands defining the search to the hotel, it was there a few days ago. Thomas cook is the cheapest, thomson portland are mega expensive now with all the other tour op, for my party of 5 at the end of august the price was £4000+ only cosmos was just under £4000. I booked for £3300 through travel care with TC.

Knowing the bad press some reps have received, often quite deservedly, I felt I must just say that Emma, the Thomson's rep in Sousse, was absolutely brilliant. I travel independently and haven't used a rep for years, but I chatted to her on several occasions and also noticed the way she treated her guests, all of whom spoke very highly of her. She is married to a Tunisian and has lived there for 9 years so certainly knows what she is talking about. Anyone who has the good fortune to come under her care will be very lucky.

I am being told by a relative that Thomson have changed your hold baggage allowance to 15 kilos could anybody confirm if this is correct.
Thanks

I think it has something to do with what sort of a package you buy and how long before you are due to travel. Certainly I have heard of 'late bookers' only being allowed 15 kg hold baggage whereas those who booked at a higher price some time ahead of departure got 20 kg. You will need to ask specifically about your planned departure, because there doesn't seem to be a standard hold baggage allowance for all flights.

my friends have all got 20 kg on their flights and htye leave in 17 days

Thomson do an equivalent last minuet budget price list which like most others only offer 15kg hold
