Hi
To be honest, we didn't like the look of it when we visited the shops there whilst staying at the Hyatt...rather concretey, basic pool and needing mini bus down to the beach,,,there was also an incident or two involving youngsters from there under the influence of one too many trying to get past security and into the Hyatt.
However that was only our opinion, and there was a couple we met that said it was great value and not worth paying for Hyatt or Marriott...so I guess its a personal choice?
We inspected all the hotels there (didn't take long :) ) and thought the Hyatt def the best, with the Marriot a second if there was a good price in comparison. But then the 3 Corners is All Inclusive.....
By the way, whilst we were there security would not allow guests from any other hotels walk along the beach past Hyatt towards the jetty end without paying a fee...not sure if theis a permenant thing or not?

Hi again
Sorry if I have misread you Tricia...do I see you have already booked? Wasn't meaning to sound negative about the 3 Corners, I thought you were considering it v. the other hotels..
I will be really interested in your opinion when you get back as I guess you wil be able to fairly and objectively assess against the other places you have already been, and tell us truthfully whats its really like and how good value etc..

Thanks for the response. I booked the Three Corners after reading very favourable reviews on Trip Advisor and of course HT.

We stayed at the Hyatt last November and watched the men building the swimming pool on the beach for the Three Corners, amazing working in those conditions without shoes !

I am aware there is a short ride to the beach, but when we stayed at the Hyatt we had about a 10 min walk from our room !

I am just looking for 2 weeks relaxation after the "madness" of Christmas

Kind regards

Tricia

Edit to remove name of website that doesn't allow HT to be mentioned on there :wink Briar

How was your stay at the three corners?
I'm thinking of booking up for just £661 for 2 of us! all inclusive
Is it worth upgrading rooms to courtyard/seaview?

Hi

Thinking about going here at Easter. Read lots of reviews which are all really good. Just wondering what it would be like for two young kids. My eldest 5 needs a kids club and mini disco.

Thanks

We went to the Three Corners for 2 weeks at New Year and I must say we had a wonderful time there. The staff were brilliant from the security men, cleaners, gardeners, waiters, so friendly, so helpful.

The hotel is small and intimate, food was good, obviously not as much selection as a large hotel, but always cooked with care. Wine and beer were fine, as normal the spirits are a paint stripper variety !

Only downside it is away from the beach, about 20- 25 min walk, or 5 mins on the circular bus, which runs every 30 mins, which became a bit of a bind especially leaving the beach late afternoon, if the bus was full.

Golf course is coming on nicely, 4 holes are ready, lovely green grass, we were told they are 9 mths behind schedule, which means it could take years !

Obviously, once the course is finished prices will probably rocket so I would take advantage while you can.

Entertainment was water polo and volley ball, which did not have many takers in winter !

On the terrace in the evening the music played was mainly aimed at 20 year olds garage, rap, hip hop etc., which the entertainment staff enjoyed, considering most people were 40 - 60 it did not go down well and usually emptied the place !

There were not many kids there, but they had their own kids club morning and afternoon and were entertained at night for about 15 mins doing "superman" type songs.

We would go back again in the future, but want to try other hotels first

Let me know if you want any further info.

Regards

Thanks for that. It does sound like a nice relaxing place.

Can't go now though as the price I originally has was incorrect and it was acctually £300 each more expensive which is alot for the 4 of us.

Maybe another time.

Thanks anyway
