Tibetan Market Calangute

I love the tibetan markets in Calangute and always buy some lovely things there, I was disappointed in March as they were closed and they seemed to be having a mass sit in, in protest at recent world events, does anyone know if the markets have now re opened ?

yes they are open. I'm not sure if we were just there at a bad time but there wasn't a lot going on. :que

You must have been unlucky - i was there from 15 march - 6 april and went there several times.

They were closed for a while but were open before we left beginning of April. We bought rings there.
