Are you sure that the 25kg did not include your hand luggage? I always remember 20kg in economy and 30 in Premier.

I'm sure it was 25kg and then hand luggage but I'm not completely sure so you are probably right. Need the extra for bringing home the honebee!!!

Perhaps it is partly due to the F.C. and Thomson merger as First Choice luggage allowance for non premier is 20 kgs with 5 kgs hand luggage.
