hi we dealt with sunset beach over a year ago be very careful as we brought contracts back and had them checked the english translation was different from the spanish don't give them any money as we know people who supposidly paid £1000 deposit and it turned out it was to join the club and was non refundable.
We purchased a timeshare at pueblo evita through a uk company they checked everything out if you want details then let me know.

My Dad and his Partner where 'hijacked' off to the Sunset beach club last week, they were there for more than a couple of hours, they were given the tour and the talk and were shown 3 different packages, the last being the cheapest at 1500 pounds, had they have started with the cheapest my Dad said he would have parted with the cash as it seemed like a very good offer but time was running out (they had to collect my kids from school) so they had to leave..
He said it was 1500 for a three year membership, you can book a room at any of the clubs sister hotels for 99 pounds and you can book as many as you like in those 3 years, it would have been ideal from them as they go away a lot.

A friend of mine bought a timeshare a few years ago and it worked out more expensive than just booking a holiday. They had to pay exhorbitant cleaning fees and a management fee on top. They felt they were really stung and are stuck with it now as they can't get rid of it and it's costing them a fortune.
I'm not sure if the Sunset Beach club is the same principle, but be very wary of any of these deals, there is so much bad publicity - there has to be a reason for this!
