Hi,
I'm arriving at the Movenpick El Gouna on Friday and wonder how much I should tip the man who brings the luggage to my room, and also which currency do they prefer?
You can tip 20LE, no more.
They will accept any currency even £1 coins. Don't know why (20le and no more) ????????? you can give what you want. The banks don't take coin's so they ask guest's if we can change coins for notes, and we change them for english notes. we also do this for the shop keepers. Have a great holiday
I tipped the lads a £1 each suitcase
Unless they have a big load of luggage and very far to go - LE 20 is too much. LE 5 - 10 is fine.
I usually tip 20LE to the guy who takes the luggage. Of course, you know whats going to happen now? Swiss is going to carry all our bags personally!
Dead right.... reckon I am in the wrong business !!
