General advice from P&O is to tip however you like.

They only provide suggested levels for waiters (which is charged automatically if you chose Freedom dining) and room stewards , any other tips are at the discretion of the passenger.

We didn't use the bars much so didn't tip any of the bar staff. No doubt some passengers are in the bars more often or opt to use a particular bar on a regular basis and tip accordingly.

If any of the bar staff have impressed you with their service then put some cash in an envelope and give it at the end of your cruise just as you would with your cabin steward and waiters.

Thank you. The whole business of tipping - when to, who to and how much makes me feel uncomfortable. We always have a drink before dinner but we like to use different bars so we could end up with a different waiter every night.

Even though there is no 15% on the bill like US ships I am sure that the bar staff will be getting a cut.

If you are only a one or two a day then like you say you may not see the same staff much if at all I would not worry.
