You don't have to stay overnight - they serve a lovely lunch menu.
You can sit on the terrace and enjoy the views. 8)
I've added some photos to the "Terecol" album.

If you feel adventurous - go further north another 5 miles or so into Maharashtra. There you will find Reddi Fort and "Paradise Beach" - absolutely no shacks. The fishermen will land on the beach and sell you fish from the day's catch, which you can then barbecue on an open fire on the beach - magical. 8)

Paradise Beach............

Max13biker..............sssssshhhhhh!!, don't tell everyone about Redi Fort and Paradise beach it'll get spoiled (selfish I know but hey it's beautiful)!!
I think the bumpy road up past the quarry will put most people off so it's probably safe for a while yet.

Goldenflipflop is right about the road - it passes an iron-ore quarry and crushing plant.

In a taxi or A/C car you're O.K. - in a jeep or on a bike, you get covered with red dust.

Andy Taz..........My Wife and I had the great pleasure of staying at Fort Tiracol in January. What a beautiful setting, all the rooms look out over the Arabian Sea, and nearby Keri beach is idyllic, a couple of shacks but otherwise quiet and peaceful. There is a colony of monkeys occupying the headland below the fort, it was amazing to observe them at playing around in the trees at such close quarters. There are 7 rooms in total 5 standard and 2 suites all named after days in the week. We where lucky enough to have one of the suites - FRIDAY - we had our own private terrace, sitting room, bedroom, and a bathroom with full length windows opening out on to the inner courtyard. The courtyard also houses a beautiful church St Anthonys, which is still used by the locals. Evening meals on the restaurant terrace were fantastic, service was excellent. It was a bit expensive (for Goa) but well worth it..........Regards...Barney.

Andy.........As I said expensive Standard rooms 5000/- per night. Suites 7500/- per night. Over the Xmas period they went up to 8000/- and 12000/- respectively, but it was still the highlight of our holiday, it really is a fantastic setting.....Regards....Barney.
