gazjac,

You may find members hotels reviews useful; Lara Beach hotel, Titanic Beach & Resort Hotel. There's also lots of topics for these hotels if you run a forum search.

We've just booked the Titanic for Sept.... I read that the beach/pool towels are free. You pay a small deposit per person (can't remember how much) entitling you to change your towels daily, then you get your deposit back at the end of your stay...
Not sure about the waiter service for drinks situation.... There is alot of reviews of the titanic on TripAdvisor... hope this helps

we went to the Titanic last September what a fantastic time we had. Pool towels were meant to be deposit of 10 euro each but we paid £20 for 3 towels. There was waiter service but mainly easier to go to the bar yourself. The food was good.............. we did a pick up at the Lara Beach and a family said the food had been dire for 2 weeks they were there but who knows. What i do know was at the titanic the entertainment was fantastic...... the ampitheatre, the white party, airport party they even brought the market to us one night complete with camels and the fireworks wow !! Weve booked the Voyage Belek this year and im wondering can anything beat the wonderfull Titanic..... book it you wont be disappionted

Hi emmaboo.
We are staying hereMay/Junethis year. Can you explain what a white party and an airport party is please.. :que I need to be prepared

the white party is one friday you get an invitation through your door and everyone dresses in white. the airport party invitation again was the next friday they transformed the place like a plane and everytime it landed in different countries eg new york, rio, london etc the entertainers dressed as per place .... like carnival in rio, pole dancers in new york lol it was mad then 10 waiters carrying this huge cake for everyone, cava flowing and fireworks off the top of the ship amazing! Another party the four seasons they gave us coats and made it rain and snow etc ..... then a pier party..... the way i still talk about the place i should go back. Put some pics on this site yesterday they should be on soon. You will have a great time ...

WOW, oh my god, that sounds so brilliant, proper carnival stuff like they do on cruises. I'll have to get a white dress, hmm wonder what I can get for hubby and Tom to wear, can't see them in white shorts or trousers...may have to go for cream linen :)
Can't wait to see the photo's. Have you put them on here?

Does anyone know if the Titanic has babysitting services or something similar available in the evening? We've booked in Sept and are soooo excited about going - especially after reading all about the entertainment in the evening... however I anticipate my boys (9 & 6) will be shattered come the evening.... Any help gratefully recieved..

There is a babysitting service but I think it was 10 Euro's an hour, so quite expensive! The evening entertainment is very good (for Turkey LOL) our grandkids just had a nap in the afternoons and managed to stay up quite late

Could I just ask a question about the pier at the Titanic. It looks a lovely place to sunbathe. Does this get crowded? Do you get numpties putting towels on the beds to reserve them or are there people at the front of the pier policing this? Is there a drinks/food bar close?
thanks

i never tried to get a bed on the pier, but it was always full, so im assuming they were bagged early and it was too crowded for me.There is a drinks bar on the pier and two snack bars directly off the beach.

Thanks emmabee, sounds like there'll be a stampede for those then, I'll just settle for a lounger on the beach then. Can't wait.
