In no particular order:
Steaks - Natalies as people have already mentioned, John Harrys (on No.3 bus route).
Turkish - La Kebab and Musti's (both Armutalan), the small lokanta opposite Tansas and anywhere you can find lots of locals eating.
Turkish/international - Haci's (Armutalan), O Yes, Uno Momento, Cousins
Doner in wraps for snacks - Bar Street are the best
English breakfast (if you must!) George and Dragon by the crossroads, No.2 bus route (also a good place for people watching on market day).
