We are visiting Gumbet again in 2 weeks time, can't wait! It will be our 5th time here. We have spent a fair bit of time in Bodrum, Bitez & also Turgetries whilst there so am looking for somewhere different this year but still easily accessible so was wondering what Torba is like? we tend to go for the day, have lunch, spend the afternoon on the beach and come home early evening, is the beach nice there? shallow sea? (my 3 year old loves Bitez as the water is so shallow she can play at the sea shore all day!) Are there nice places to eat etc? Also are there any other places close by that anyone can recmmend for a day out?
Thanks
I would recommend Yalikavak or Gumushluk both are quiet compared with Gumbet or Bodrum, but make great days out. Gumushluk has great fish restaurants and fantastic sunsets. Yalikavak has a great marina and there is usuall a refreshing breeze blowing. Both have beaches. You can get a dolmus to either of them. The journey to Yalikavak has some spectualr views.
