Hi, my fiance and I are planning to go to Spain for 9 weeks from mid June - mid august (we have been studying hard all year and need a slower pace of living!). We have found several lovely apartments but are unsure which area would best suit our plans. we do not want to rent a car, we would like to be within reasonable walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants and within 30 minutes walking distance/10 minutes bus ride of a beach. The properties that we like are situated either in the Los Altos, Villamartin, Orihuela, Calle Onda Quesada or the Monte y Mar Gran Alacant Santa Pola areas. I have never visited the Costa Blanca before so if anybody could provide me with any information about these areas, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
