would like to go to a place this year that is similar to tossa de mar, I loved tossa but fancy a change, is there anywhere there that can compete with tossa for restuarnts and charecter, that the coach operators go to

have you looked at estartit, the town rather than the campsite. this may offer you something similar.
most coaches, as im sure you are aware, all go to the same selection of resorts from calella to tossa. they all have something going for them which suits different people.
i personally was not keen on tossa but love lloret.
i prefer calella to pineda or blanes and malgrat to santa sussanah, but others will disagree completely.

yes thanks for that, I liked castel montgri, but wasnt that impressed with estartit to be honest !! horses for courses I suppose..
