Hi Krankie-frankie , touchdown are ok so no need to worry , my wife used to work for BAA and we got cheap virgin flights to Tobago a few years ago. She had to get a signed form (it has a number or name) and is signed by boss/manager/supervisor etc. Touchdown will advise you what to do and what you qualify for. They also do very good accomodation deals along with the flights. The reason you and probably other people have never heard of them is because you have to work in the industry to qualify for their discounts.

My husband works for an airline company and is also entitled to use Touchdown.One of his colleagues uses them regularly.We haven't used them yet as they seem to favour couples rather than families.

Touchdown have been around for years.

I worked for 10yrs in my last position with a major UK tour operator and have been living in Cyprus since I left there in 2004. They were going strong when I was in travel.

Get booked and take the advantage. You just need something from your Manager that confirms you work where you say you do and that you've been there for more than 12 months if I recall correctly.

Thanks for the reply's. I have also chatted to a few people at work and it seems if you can get a good deal from touchdown then it's almost certainly a must.

I'm not looking to book my flight for another couple of months anyway. Just glad they seem to be reputable

The owner of the agency I used to work at used them quite often. She never had any complaints.

Wanted to book my flights today but Touchdown have revamped their website and you cant book online anymore. When I emailed them they said that they have lost the contract with Qatar and are renegotiating. They couldn't confirm how long, if ever they will get the contract back.

I have sent another email as they suggested Kenya airlines, although not heard good things about them! My second choice would be Air Seychelles, which I told them.

Anyway, went to the Qatar website and yesterday you could get the prices and info up on LHR to Seychelles, today Seychelles have disappeared from their website
