I booked accomodation and flight seperately, also paid for transfers, this was all done at the same time with Thomson. We arrived at Laranca airport. Thomson rep directed us to the bus for our hotel, I got on the bus and my partner was dealing with the cases, the driver was causing a fuss saying the bus was full, When the rep was checking names, we were not on the list. Her advise was to go back to the terminal and speak to the other reps there. I made her very aware I was not happy,As you can imagine the other holiday makers were not too pleased with all the fuss that was going on. As I got off the bus , the driver had put our cases on the bus anyway. I again spoke to the rep on the bus to clarify what was going on. She said we might as well stay on this bus now, as there was room
I spoke to the hotel rep the following day to ensure the same thing didnt happen going home. To be fair she was very good and checked it out straight away for me. It appears because I booked it seperately my transfer was to Resort only not our hotel,so we should have been dropped off at a hotel 15 mins walk away from our hotel eventhough there were other people being dropped off at our hotel.This was not explained to me when I made the booking. She re-arranged for us to be picked up at our hotel on the return journey, so it all worked out ok and we had a lovely 10 days in Protaras
