We too are going to Tossa in September and will be spending an evening or two in Lloret, I did here that the buses between the two resorts stop running in the early evening but i am sure that taxis will be readily available

bus from lloret stops about 8.00.
taxis cost around 15/20 eoros to get back to tossa, but as with all taxis abroad agree the fare in advance.
note -if you are going clubbing to early hours you may be able to get first bus to tossa which is about 6.00am

Taxis are available and cost about 20 Euros to Tossa. At night you have normal taxis for 3 (they do not like to carry more) and people carrier for 7. They can refuse drunk fares!
