I am planning to go to Egypt at the end of this month and I was thinking to take a tour organized by Expat Explore Ltd (a travel agency based in London). Does anyone have any experience with this travel agency? I want to know whether the trip that they organize is good or bad. I was browsing for the review from people about the trip with this travel agency in Google, but found none.

Hi, I was wondering the same thing. I'm in Sharm with 2 kids in February and want to get the best deal on excursions and avoid large annoying groups of tourists, I was also wondering if its best to do excursions independently and hire local guides and drivers?
Honestly, I don't have a courage to hire a driver and a local guide on the spot. I prefer to join a tour with more people roaming around together in a group.

You can use one of the excursion companies based in Sharm, they are a lot cheaper than your tour company charges and you will still get the same excursion but usually in smaller groups.

I went to Luxor last year, booked through Thomson, but bought the excursions there - much cheaper and the Thomson excusions were a rip off so didn't do them, but instead haggled with a local company for Valley of the Kings and got it for 1/3 price to Thomson.
