I can't believe they (Freudmann brothers) could possibly get away with what they have done TBH.
TinaT .. I have merged your enquiry with this existing topic, which may provide some useful info. It would have provided more information, had Lialortu84 not removed the content of all her posts. I note that you just happen to be posting from the same IP address as Lialortu84 and also share email details. Perhaps you might be able to explain why you are using two accounts to post about this company.
I don't share email details with any one.
Oh yes you do, but I won't embarrass you or risk your online security by posting them here. I will just ban both accounts instead.
Anyway, does any one know why The Travel Club of Upminster is no longer a member of ABTA?
I'm quite interested to find out what the big secret is
TinaT may just work in the same office as Lialortu84
Yes, that's possible. But to have the same first name and surname would be a bit of a coincidence.
If no one provides the information you are looking for, you could always contact the company via their website, or give them a ring on the number which they posted on the previous page for any enquiries.

perhaps now would not be a good time to hand over any money to them.
just stumbled on this report - perhaps now would not be a good time to hand over any money to them.
Thanks for that Steve.
"Travel Club of Upminster enters administration"

Travel Club of Upminster in administration
Travel Club of Upminster and its subsidiary Austria Travel have gone into administration following a failed attempt by owner Tony Freudmann to rescue the businesses.
Freudmann and administrators Shipleys held last-ditch talks with a possible buyer earlier today, but shortly after the meeting Shipleys issued a statement both businesses had gone into administration.
The Birmingham-based businesses provided accommodation-only primarily in Majorca, Portugal and, in the case of Austria Travel, in Austria. Shipleys said they were unable to meet payments to key overseas accommodation providers.
A notice of intent to appoint administrators was filed in court for Travel Club on September 14 and for Austria Travel on September 24. "This action was taken to try and protect the businesses to allow time to maximise the realisation of the assets of the companies, notably their goodwill," said the statement.
Specialist travel accountants Ellman Wall were earlier instructed to value the businesses and seek expressions of interest from within the industry, but no buyer came forward.
Customers who have booked and paid for accommodation before October 4 will have to lodge a claim with the administrators and those who paid by credit card may be able to claim refunds from their issuer.
Neither of the businesses were members of ABTA and they did not hold ATOLs.
