When you guess- why not add your own photo?
Love the pic with the mountains. Dunno where it is though😁
Is it Rio de Janeiro? I'm trying to work out whether that is Sugarloaf Mountain right in the distance taken from a different viewpoint than the typical views of it? Or indeed whether the unusual aspect is because this was taken from the top of Sugarloaf itself? I've never been to Rio so this is definitey guesswork :-)
Spot on! The top of Sugar Loaf! It's one of my favourite photos!
Well here's my 'Where is it?' photo.
Sma did you use the photo icon? I can't copy your link to sort as on phone.
Err - I'm using an iPad which has the photo on it and I just copied and pasted! The photo showed up when I first pasted it - if I use the photo icon it asks me for an URL and I don't have one! So not sure what to do - do I need to put the photo onto a hosting site?

I saw your link earlier and I couldn't do anything with it, so after a bit of googling, it seems there is some kind of bug/glitch. I didn't understand it all Tbh, It went over my head, so, I'm guessing you are using Apple/ Safari, because this seems to create the ' webkit fake it url.'

AFAIK, you cannot C/P an image straight into your post & I've always had to use a hosting site, so, try sending/hosting the photo via tinypic..... tinypic.com
Apologies if you already know how to do this, just trying to help.
1. Choose file... find photo on device.
2. File type, Image.
3. Resize to Message boards (640x480)
4. Upload.
( a security code sometimes appears, click to reveal it & type it in the box.)
5. Copy/paste the link for *message boards* into your post. (It should have the [IMG] brackets at start and end)

Hi Sanji, yes, I am using Apple/Safari and I did think it was too good to be true that initially just doing a straightforward copy and paste worked! I've used Photobucket in the past and this pic might well already be uploaded there. I don't have the time right now to play around with it and try again but I will have a go later in the day. So thanks again :-)
Let's hope I've got it right this time!
Is it El Cobre, Santiago de Cuba ?
Spot on, Judith, I should have guessed that you would recognise it!
Yes I visited the Cathedral when I toured Cuba in 2007
I think I should know it, but I dont!
:-) And here was me thinking that you were bound to get it, Fiona, because it looks as if it is somewhere in the Far East which I thought you'd visited a lot?
too many temples
Lovely photo Judith 👍
The first photo looks majestic, though yeah, I wasn't able to guess where it is at first glance.
