My 9yo daughter suffers terribly from TS (as do I from the aftermath ). Does anyone know if my doctor could prescribe something to help? We're going to Benidorm in a couple of weeks, she's never flown but we have an hours drive to the airport then 45 mins in a cab to the hotel so I just know she'll be ill!
I usually give her stugeron but it's never worked so far if we've driven anywhere over twenty minutes! I recently bought her the acupressure wristbands which we tried from Telford services to Essex and they seemed to do the trick but I'm not sure if that was just chance and straight motorway driving. Anyone had experience with them? Success stories would be nice!
Hi AuntiePink ... I have merged your enquiry with this existing 2 page topic, so you may now find some useful info in earlier posts.
Thanks, David.
We take Stugeron, I`ve used them for years and recently started Katie on them. They work for us.
Stugeron is our usual too but she's still ill I'm going to try giving it to her earlier this time then 'top her up' nearer to the journey time. Hopefully that plus the bands will do the trick! (though I'll take plenty of sick bags anyway...)
