It's my 40th birthday in February 2009 and I'm looking to book an all inclusive package holiday in Barbados (at the Sea Breeze Hotel). We've recently had a baby and he'll be 14 months old when we're planning to travel. Can anyone tell me if Barbados is a suitable place to take an infant so small, e.g. will he need injections, what the hygiene/food like, etc? Does anyone have any experience / advice please?!
Thanks in advance.

Barbados is a well developed country and for that reason I would say that your little one will be as safe as in good old England.

Have visited Barbados around 8 times and seen many Ebnglish with young babies - and I mean a lot younger than your little un, but as Mark says I would check with your GP re injections. Hygiene is fine too - you can even drink the tap water without a problem.
