hi, just wondering if were gonna be ok travelling to egypt on thursday with all this trouble in nearby isreal??? im not exactly sure how near it is to egypt so thought i would come here for advice !! xx
also does anyone know if the exchange rate is better over there or over here? thanx in advance xx

no you are fine, Egypt is one of the safest places to travel.
Just take a little bit of Egyptian pounds around £50, the rate is a lot better in resort. A rip off here in the UK.

I wouldnt exchange money here, do it at the airport when you arrive. The rate is really low just now and if you exchange money this end you will get even less to the £. We were getting 11LE to the £ in the summer, and only got 8.01LE to the £ over there last week!
