Well I know that when my friends boyfriend travelled to USA he was sent straight back again because of something on his record!

USA are far stricter than Mexico, who need your tourist money

LOL, I hope they need it alot and we def get in, thanks

Why don't you make a quick phone call to the Mexican Embassy and find out. You can find out for sure then, rather than speculate and find yourself turned away.... ;)

You know what, that would make a lot of sense and I never even thought of it, lol! Thanks ill get them to give them a call

You won't have any trouble travelling to Mexico with a criminal record. You will have to fill out a Mexican Tourist Card on the plane if you are staying in the country for more than 72hours. The card just has questions about where and how long you are staying, date of birth etc.. just personal details.
You won't be asked if you have a criminal record. So don't worry.

Edited for spelling mistake.

But they scan your passport so maybe that will show something, so have a $50 bribe handy

There shouldn't be anything on your passport to do with a criminal offence. Just found this telephone no in London for you Mexican Embassy: (020) 7235 6393. The office is open Mon - Fri 9.30am - 1pm. Good luck.
