The Victoria complex is right in the centre of Troulos I think, they had a small pool and a nice bar.

AS for shopping not really - theres some shops in Skiathos town but thats about it.

Use the bus service to get about, its fun and cheap

I went to the Victoria Complex with Olympic in 2001. There are a few apts by the pool and the rest of the studios are across the road up a very steep hill! It really is quite steep but as the weather shouldn't be baking just think of it as working of the Kleftiko! The studios themeselves were big, airy and clean with great views.

We only stayed in Troulos a couple of days as my Mum broke her foot (nothing to do with the accommodation!) and we were moved to Skiathos Town. Troulous was very quiet with a great beach and if you want some shopping and a busier atmosphere Skiathos Town is great and only a short bus journey away.

Thank you for all the info, am packed and ready to go now. I was just really concerned in regards to the hotel. There's nothing worse than going on hoilday and finding the hotel isn't up to standard. Thanks for taking the time
