A lot dearer than at home, take them with you, I made the same mistake in CDSOL when my daughter was quite young and ended up buying their own brand which were expensive and kak

Hiya I've just returned from Majorca with my 14 month old daughter. We found the shops catared well for nappies and wipes. You will need to go to the larger stores for a bigger selection of baby food, the smaller stores are mainly C&G formula.
One thing we found hard to locate were nappy bags and in the heat you really need them.
Enjoy

in regards to formula i would contact Aptamils customer care line and find out what their 'equivalent' is in Majorca we went to CDSol when our daughter was 5 months and we took powder formula and she wouldnt have it - i assume because of the water. we ended up contacting C&G and buying their spanish ready made - which she was fine with.... we did find C&G in the uk packaging etc but it was nearly double the price of the spanish equivalent.......

Pampers in Spain are called Dodot. and are available in supermarkets and bigger pharmacies.
If you're making up formula milk, there are plenty of bottled waters that are suitable for babies. Just look for the picture of the baby on the label. Even own brands are suitable.

Nappies are readily available.

Where the milks concerned would definately take the ready made cartons - it might cost a bit more but at least you won't have all the worry and stress that your baby will take the milk.

My daughter loved farley's - they do ready made in all formula's.

Calpol an hour before the flight just in case it upsets their little ears. Try and give a bottle of take off and landing - the sucking action will help with the pressure on their ears - or if flights not at feed time give a dummy. Worked a treat with our little one last year.

have fab time.

If you are near to Palma, get a bus into Porto Pi, and buy a supply at Carrefour - my step daughter bought nappies over here and thought they were very reasonable.

More expensive in the resorts, but obviously thr main supermarkets are open throughout the year.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Just as a reminder- you still need to boil bottled water and also use this when sterilising, lindam do bags that you can put in a microwave( from boots and asda) if you need to give your baby water and are unable to boil it first, evain is the best one to give due to low sodium and mineral levels. slightly :offtop i know , but not many people think about this.
have a good holiday- majorca is wonderful for children.

Just a small point about water. Where we install our dispensed drinks system we also install advanced water filters. These take out all the nitrates, calcium, chlorine and particularly sodium. I am certain that absolutely any of the bars we supply would happily provide any mother with this very pure H2O!!

Just ask and I will tell you where the nearest such bars are.

Cheers, Paul

All the supermarkets sold Dodot nappies and most of the in resort shops sold Pampers as well. I didn't notice the price, it wasn't that important to me  A couple of supermarkets did sell Aptimil is as well although it was in a different tub so not sure if it is the same or not, I took it with me. The things I couldn't get for babies out there were Sudocrem and Nappy Sacks. What do people in Majorca do with dirty nappies I wonder :?:

Our dustmen call every day of the year (except Kings day - Jan 6th). So people wrap them in carrier bags, tie them off and put them in the big green dustbins that you see everywhere besides the road. Houses don't normally have a personal dustbin!

The dustmen (and women) provide a totally first class service here. Seems a million miles from the reports of bin bugs, alternate week collections etc that you read about back in the UK!

That explains it then! The poor maid in our apartment had to pick up endless nappies that werent wrapped.
