as they are not too comfortable.they are ideal for short journeys
Thanks Les. Yes, I was thinking of short journeys, and anyway, they look like a good laugh.
You have not lived until you have been in a tuk-tuk!
LOVE the tuk tuks! It's better than the dodgems at the fairground!!!
I far prefer the tuk tuks they have free air conditioning.
tuk tuks are great fun and a trip on a local bus is a must as well
And you will have to try the free ferry over to Panjim, it is an experience not to be missed.

Free air conditioning? does that mean open windows
Free air conditioning? does that mean open windows
erm....some of ours haven't even had doors!!!!! Just a bit of elastic looped across!
They are great fun and its almost as much fun watching people getting in and out of them (especially after a few kingfisher) !!
Apparently they are selling very well in the UK as taxi vechicles.
I think deep down, I really want one.
Yes!!! We saw a couple of tuk tuks in Brighton last month, being used as taxi's
Last time we were in one in Goa, I had to balance on the right hand side so the reserve tank could be drained to its last ounce
Nice driver....big hair - always around Candolim.
One year we used the same tuk tuk for all our trips to Morjim etc. He'd put the most enormous speaker....not a normal car speaker but one for a hi-fi that stood about 3ft high!!!, lying on its side wedged behind the back seat You could hear us coming along the road for miles around!!!
only in Goa!!
allan.
Do you think them 6 people stretched it?
This is a serious question. How many passengers would be considered safe in a tuk-tuk? I use the word "safe" reservedly.
