Using my little wheelie map measure thingy (for the first time) I think the sea route is about 50 km but the road route is about three times as far at around 150 km.

The road route (bus or car hire?) is probably quickest.

I think you should persuade your friends to visit you, instead.

We have booked the Aegean Dreams Resort and my friends are staying in Altinkum, we will see nearer the time what we are going to do.

Hi!

Although it was some years ago we did take the ferry from Altinkum to Bodram for the day, from memory it took at least 2.5 hours each way, but thoroughly enjoyed the journey with the exception of disembarking at Altinkum the gangway was incredibly narrow and seemed to go on for ever!No side rails either!Which for someone who can't see was more than a wee bit worrysome!LOL! Enjoyed the sail though but not bodram itself, too busy for me. You could always take the ferry and stay overnight? Give you a chance to see Altinkum and its lovely beaches. Ah the memories!LOL!
