can anyone recommend a suitable area for late october heard good and bad about turkey to be honest but thought october would still be ok weather wise would like self catering in a fairly biggish resort that wouldnt be closed in october
thinking marmaris but would prefer a short airport transfer nice places to eat and fairly central apartments
2 adults going and a 12 year old daughter any responses greatly appreciated
I have booked for Bodrum for the Oct 1/2 Term.
It's a bit more of a "proper Town" than many of the other Resorts and although it won't be as busy - most places will still be open.
Not sure about the weather though - heard that the end of October can be a little wet .
Marmaris should still be open but again - starting to wind down.
Good Luck.

Bodrum is only about 40 minutes from the airport and it is a lovely town, very pretty, loads of really nice restaurants, lots of shops and plenty to see and do. I used to live near Bodrum so I really miss being there now.

dont know where you have looked for flights but have you looked on youlookyoubook.com flights on there are quite reasonable although it says no frills flight it doesnt actually say which airline so might be worth ringing to find out!!!!
thanks for your reply as well!!!
I just had a look and the flights were £309
what about the very southern med coast , maybe antalya or side etc weather should be good there.
