Just returned from out first ever trip to Turkey and have to say it beats the pants off Spain and some parts of Greece. We stayed in the Olu Deniz Resort Hotel and loved every minute of our stay. Went on the Jeep safari and saw a little bit of the real Turkish countryside and was taken back by the sheer beauty of the place. Superb friendly locals who simply could not do enough for us both for the whole 7 days. Both my wife and myself had a truly wonderful experience and will without doubt hopefully return to Turkey some time in the near future.

Am glad that you had a wonderful time too! We got back last friday and have not only already booked for next year, but planning to return in July/August this year too

What is it with Turkiye?
I got back on May 13th and going back again tomorrow for 1 week. Also got 2 weeks booked for September.

Went to the same place our self last year, going back to Turkey in 4 weeks and already booked flights for next year. We've been bitten as well!
Another convert here as well. We went for the first time in May last year and have been back three times since and we will be back again in August.
Our first time was July 06 for 1 week, Sept 06 for 2 weeks, May 07 for 2 weeks, going again tomorrow for 1 week then it will be very difficult to stay away until September 07. Unfortunately my OH has no more holidays left apart from the planned dates.
Hmmm, I have plenty of time though, wonder how I would feel on my own for 2 weeks hehehe.

We are also love Turkey we are going to Icmeler for the 3 time this year we always said we would not visit the same place twice, but we just have to keep coming back. Can't wait till Thursday and we are off again.
Apart from Benidorm, Marmaris is the only place I have ever returned to. I actually feel so homesick when I return home, and the last day / evening is spoilt by the fact that I am so gutted at going home the next day.
I am so pleased you enjoyed it. I fell in love with Olu Deniz also.
