Hopefully everything will be ok with club anastasia as we are going on 13th July and will be devastated if we cant stay at it. Was there last year and its an absolutely fantastic place !
We were on the phone to the travel agents today and they said they didnt think there was going to be any problems and was just reading the links to club anastasia website and its very reassuring

We dont go until 24th August so I am hoping everything will be sorted by then, those going in a few weeks I look forward to reading your reviews when you return. x
hi kimi,grankids are 3 & 2.they will be 4 & 3 in september. i have phone the travel agent who got back to me this morning,she has spoken to thomsons and it looks like we may be moved to another hotel,i am about to ring her again to see if there are any updates. Gavin

we are flying out from belfast with thompson on the 13th july but have spoken to the travel agents but to be honest they have been useless and provided us with no information at all !

hi kellie-bean. we are flying from manchester...i think we need to keep on at the travel agents to get a decision one way or the other, if they say things are ok(as the say it is at the hotel as per hotels web site) then i am more than happy to go....i am sure the club will be doing the best they can....simply because every day lost is less money in their pockets....but what ever happens i hope we all have a good holiday....Gavin.
As far as I am led to believe from Flightline and Club Aida, our holiday is going ahead on Monday as planned - am going to ring again tomorrow and just make sure! Assuming everything is okay, and we do get to Club Anastasia, I will get internet access asap and post from there on how things are.

I hve just returned from anatasia today and have had one of the best holidays ever. i was there the night of the fire and thee was only a couple of people with minor injuries, the rooms are fine just a little smoke damage which has since been cleaned.
Please please still go you will love, i am going back next year and nearly all the people i have met there go back year after year.
When the fire started all the bar boys from the pool side havana bar raced in the apartments and got everybody out before the fire brigade turned up....Heroes!!!!!

What good news to read this morning, thankyou for posting, glad that those travelling in the next week can now relax and get ready to leave for their holiday without the fear of unknowing what to expect. I love this website, it keeps you more updated (truthfully) than the tour operators lol.

would like to add that club anastasia is a great place for everyone!
the staff are great with the kids (and the adults!) the food is good the beer is cold, the rooms and service are first class.
me and the clan have been there 5 times and are off again there on the 12th Aug for another fab 2 weeks!

Arrıved on Monday 6th at Anastasıa. To be honest you wouldn´t even know there had been a fire. Obvıously the sauna, turkish bath etc are not open but other than that everything is fine.
Away back now to jump ın the pool, it´s really really hot!

Gavin tried to PM you but not gettıng error. Emaıl hotel and ask for a room thats not on the top floor - very small wıth only one wardrobe for 4 and slopıng ceılıngs. No covered balcony and rooms get boılıng hot - we got moved and other rooms alot nıcer. Rooms facıng the main road quıte noisy wıth traffıc too so request away from there! Have safe flight on Monday!
